Revell Color is a synthetic resin enamel paint that does not attack the plastic surface of model kits. However, the popular 14 ml paint can also be used to paint many other materials.
All shades, except for signal colors, are mixable with each other and can be thinned with Revell Color Mix. This allows the paint to be applied not only with a brush but also with a spray gun. For cleaning, Revell Painta Clean is used for brushes and Revell Airbrush Clean for the spray gun.
This color is used for:
- Standard camouflage paint for air force aircraft (Bundeswehr), such as the MDD F-4E Phantom II, in combination with 361 olive green and 90 silver
- Upper surface paint for Royal Air Force and Royal Navy aircraft during predominant oversea operations, often in conjunction with 371 light gray
- Cockpit interior paint
