Humbrol No 33 Black Matt

Usage
A solvent-based, fast-drying paint designed for use on plastic model kits, but can also be used on other surfaces. Matte, satin, gloss, metallic, metalcoat, and clear finishes are available (the finish varies depending on the color).

Surface
A wide range of surfaces, including most plastics, wood, glass, ceramics, metal, cardboard, sealed plaster, sealed hardboard, and more (always test suitability on a small area first).

Coverage
A 14ml can covers approximately 0.3m², depending on the application thickness.

Application
Apply directly from the can with a brush. For airbrushing, use a suitable thinner such as Humbrol Enamel Thinners. Two thin coats are preferable to one thick coat. The usual thinning ratio is 2 parts paint to 1 part thinner. Note that metalcoat paints are designed to be polished after fully drying.

Drying Time
Gloss: 1-2 hours
Matte & Satin: 20-40 minutes to dust dry, up to 24 hours for fully dry
Metallic: hard dry after approximately 10 days. Drying times vary depending on ambient temperature and humidity. Recoating: at least 6 hours (preferably overnight).

Cleaning Instructions:
Brush: Use Humbrol Enamel Thinners
Airbrush: rinse thoroughly with Humbrol Enamel Thinners. The product is permanent once dry.
