Humbrol No 32 Dark Grey Matt

Usage

A solvent-based, fast-drying paint designed for use on plastic model kits, but can also be applied to other surfaces. Matte, satin, gloss, metallic, metalcoat, and clear coat finishes are available (the finish varies depending on the color).

Surface

A variety of surfaces, including most plastics, wood, glass, ceramics, metal, cardboard, sealed plaster, sealed hardboard, and more (always test suitability on a small area first).

Coverage

A 14 ml can covers approximately 0.3 m², depending on the thickness of the layer.

Application

Apply directly from the can with a brush. For airbrushing, use a suitable thinner such as Humbrol Enamel Thinners. Two thin coats are preferable to one thick coat. The usual thinning ratio is 2 parts paint to 1 part thinner. Note that metalcoat paints are intended to be polished once fully dry.

Drying Time

Gloss: 1-2 hours. Matte & Satin: dust dry in 20-40 minutes, up to 24 hours for hard dry. Metallics: hard dry in about 10 days. Drying times vary depending on ambient temperature and humidity. Recoating: at least 6 hours (preferably overnight).

Cleaning

Brushes: Use Humbrol Enamel Thinners. Airbrush: thoroughly rinse with Humbrol Enamel Thinners. The product is permanent once dry.
