Carefree, the orphaned fox cub and Capper, the lively puppy, romp together over hill and dale. Along the way, the two young ones meet many funny friends. For now, Cap and Capper are the best of friends and have no idea that one day they will face each other as enemies.

Capper is trained as a hunting dog, and the grumpy hunter has set his sights on Cap. The old friendship between the two is put to a tough test, putting them in great danger. A breathtaking chase begins.
