PRL FSO Polonez - Blue
The history of the Polonez begins in late 1972 when plans were developed for a successor to the 125p model. In 1974, an agreement was made between Pol-Mot and the Italian FIAT group, transferring the design to the Italian side. That same year, design work began at the Centro Stile Fiat. The first prototypes of the car, designated 125PN (Polacco Nuova - Polish New), were created in 1975.
The name Polonez was chosen in 1978 through a reader survey by "Życie Warszawy." The new hatchback design was considered modern and aesthetically pleasing for its time, with a strong emphasis on safety.
The model is a licensed product from FSO and is made in a 1:43 scale from metal with plastic elements. It meets European toy safety standards.
