Cobi Messerschmitt Me 262A

The Messerschmitt Me 262 was the first jet aircraft to be produced in series. Between 1943 and 1945, approximately 800 units of the twin-engine aircraft were delivered to the German Luftwaffe. In the A-1 version (Swallow), it was correctly used as a fighter interceptor, while the A-2 variant (Stormbird) was designed as a fighter-bomber on explicit orders from the Führer, which quickly proved to be a strategic mistake due to insufficient accuracy in bombing.
