The Lim-5 fighter jet is a Mikoyan MiG-17F built by the Polish aviation industry under Soviet license. The production of LIM aircraft led to significant development in Poland's aviation industry. The Lim-5 planes were equipped with the WK-1F engine, which was also manufactured under license.

120 Lim-5 and 40 Lim-5P aircraft were delivered to the German Democratic Republic. The East German aviation sector ordered parts from Poland for repairs, upgrades, and modifications of aircraft. The LIM-5 served in the German Air Force from 1958 until around 1985.

The model airplane LIM-5 (MIG-17F) is designed at a scale of 1:32 and consists of 575 high-quality elements. All markings, emblems, and inscriptions on the model are prints that do not wear off during use. The set features movable elements such as wheels and an opening cockpit, where a figure of a German pilot can be placed. The camouflage reproduced from the blocks is particularly beautiful. The set has been entirely manufactured in Poland within the European Union.
