The young and ambitious lawyer Ben takes on a case where he faces the powerful Denning, a ruthless manager of a pharmaceutical company. However, he soon begins to doubt whether he is truly up to this challenging task, as Denning is willing to go to any lengths. Even Ben's senior partner Abrams starts to question the ambitious yet dangerous endeavor of his protégé.
