A model of the solar system, created by the renowned MOC designer JK Brickworks. It offers a unique building block experience: as expected from JK Brickworks, it provides not only a lot of building fun thanks to a sophisticated gear mechanism but also serves as an educational tool and a calendar in one. Each rotation of the gear mechanism corresponds to one Earth rotation, accurately representing one day on Earth. Thus, 365 rotations equal one year on Earth, including a complete orbit around the Sun. The daily rotation of the Moon around the Earth is also depicted. The base of the model features the 12 months of the year, making this model suitable as a rough calendar as well.
