Which adapter exactly do you need for the small gas tank? And how long will the small tank last?

Not sure if this answers your question, but I use it with a "normal" gas cylinder (like the one for the barbecue) without an additional adapter. Only with the valve supplied. That lasts quite a long time, about 2 years with occasional use. But I don't know exactly.
