Question about Intex Pool heater

There is a switch on the plug, which must always be pressed again after switching off so that the heating can be switched on again. This means that PV-optimised operation using a switched socket is not possible. Is it hypothetically negligent if I disconnect the plug and replace the whole thing with a 3-wire cable connector designed for 250 volts? Then it should work PV-optimised All cables and plugs are in a watertight box. Thank you for your support.

For those who are grappling with the same question. It works perfectly as described and I can now control the whole thing via the PV system with a surplus of 2.6 kwh (effective consumption, it never drew 3kwh). Also, the heating does not have to be set at the top of the button - if electricity is supplied and the heating was switched on before the last power cut, it switches on again automatically.

It's a security...any modification cancels any guarantee, and any insurance cover in the event of a problem.
