My garage is 3 metres high - are the ropes and the crank rod (length) sufficient to comfortably mount the roof box on my VW Passat?

Helpful answer

The rope length and crank should be sufficient for mounting directly on the roof. However, the length will not be sufficient for lowering the box to the garage floor.
