I ordered the WingBar Edge and now I learn that the 4055 mounting kit is no longer available. Galaxus should please point out on the homepage that this is an old system and is no longer supported. The link to the Thule configurator on the Galaxus website leads nowhere... Answer Thule on request: Hello Exactly. The WingBar Edge 9595 only fits the 4055 kit, which is no longer available. The 6017 kit can only be used with the current Flush Rail Edge, the kit does not fit the Wingbar Edge 9595. In short, only old and old and new and new fit together. The same thing has happened to me, I tried to mount the rails only to find that there were missing pieces. In the meantime I have not had time to look into it and now I find the same problem that the kit isn’t sold here. And I bought this few months ago. Of course now it’s too late to even return. I’ve spent so many hours figuring out what I piece I was missing, it’s incredibly confusing and definitely Galaxus has done a bad job at selling things with missing parts and not telling about it in the product page.
Complicated to find, neither the manufacturer's references (thule) nor the sizes match!
