Question about Intex Crystal Clear
I have seen that the Intex sand filter pumps have a timer. Can the pumps also be operated without this, i.e. socket has power = pump runs, no power = pump off or is the pump only in standby because of the timer when it is connected to the mains? Reason for the question: I control the socket of my pump that is currently being replaced via SmartHome and have corresponding time programmes for the filtration and am therefore more flexible and it is also more convenient for me to intervene remotely via mobile. All the other features of the pump would speak for me, only the timer worries me...

Hello! no, this particular model cannot be controlled with a smart plug. The pump does not start up as soon as you plug it in. What's more, the safety F I trips as soon as the pump is no longer powered. So you have to reset the circuit breaker every time.
