I bought the barbecue and am on page 8 of the assembly instructions - according to these, a larger metal plate should be placed under the entire assembly. It says "3 woody lx / class 3 wlx" next to it - but I have the ld and ignore this part (I don't have the part in the scope either). And on page 26 you can see the plate as a component for the LD...? Do you not have it either? Can I fire this thing up without worrying about my eyebrows...:)

I wouldn't do that, there is a possibility that grease drips onto the hose or onto the gas valve and the heat causes the grease to catch fire, then the hose burns through and the gas catches fire.....I don't know if the bottle could explode and then your house with the oil tank and all the neighbouring houses, the village, the region, the district, the canton, Switzerland, Europe and then the world and all because of a missing plate on a standard grill...the first part was realistic...
