Thule MultiLift 572
I already have 6 holes in the underground car park ceiling with eyebolts, 4 of which have an old, narrow Thule Alpine 500 hanging from them, empty weight approx. 15 kg. I want to save myself (and the garage ceiling) drilling another 14 holes. The idea: I take a sufficiently thick wooden panel, attach the components of the lift to it and attach the panel to the ceiling using the existing 6 holes. I could possibly replace the roof box with a much larger one, but even then the weight (including the wooden panel) would still be less than 30 kg. QUESTION: Does this solution work? Is there anything that needs to be taken into account? Many thanks for any tips!
It should work
I don't see why this shouldn't work, I would do the same.
