Thule WingBar Evo 150
Question about Thule WingBar Evo 150
Hello A WingBar Evo 127 is recommended to me on the Thule homepage (Opel Insignia Country Tourer, 2015). Also a Thule Slide Bar, 144cm wide. I would like to load four bikes. Can I fit the WingBar Evo 150cm or is there a restriction because of the feet? Or is a width of 127 sufficient for four bikes? Greetings and thanks, bugabe
The fixed points (feet) are movable. So you can use any size. It is important that the bar is not wider than the car without side mirrors, as this would be prohibited from my point of view. 127cm seems tight for 4 bikes, but possible. Why don't you place all the bikes next to each other (2 forwards, 2 backwards) and measure how far the outermost wheels are from each other. Then add another 20cm for the bike racks. In other words, the wheels of the bikes must not be more than 107cm apart so that all 4 bikes fit on a 127cm bar.
