Hello, would be very glad for help! I have programmed the timer but nowhere does it say when and how the lamp has to be plugged in....I have now plugged the lamp into the timer at the socket for testing and the lamp is on. Is that correct? It is programmed to switch on automatically at 5.00 pm, now it is 11.16 am.....what happens at 5.00 pm? Or does the light have to be off? The lamp only switches on manually. Thank you for your support.

It's strange for me too. I set it to come on at 4 pm and it somehow comes on at 4.15 pm, but switches off at 10 pm as requested. don't check that either.
