The question has been asked before in a similar way, but not quite answered in a way that helps me. :-) How far down can you effectively lower the roof box from the ceiling when it is suspended? Our ceiling is relatively high up and am concerned that it will then reach the roof of the car. :-)

Answer

My ceiling height is 230 cm and I can lower the box to about 50 cm.
If that is not enough, you can use a longer rope without any problems.
