Can/is it possible to use the 50mbar in Switzerland or do I have to use an adapter?

Yes, a 50-mbar barbecue may be operated in Switzerland. The only decisive factor is that you use a 50-mbar pressure regulator with a Swiss cylinder connection. A special adapter is not normally required.
