Floor heating

Underfloor heating is an efficient and comfortable way to supply heat. It enables an even distribution of heat in the room and ensures a pleasant living climate.

The
operating mode of a floor heating system can be either water or electricity based. A water floor heating system uses heat exchangers in the form of pipes that are embedded in the floor. Warm water flows through these and transfers the heat to the floor and the air in the room. Electric underfloor heating, on the other hand, works with electrical resistors that are also embedded in the floor and generate the heat.

An important factor in choosing the right floor heating is the heat output. This is given in watts per square metre (W/m²) and provides information about how much heat the heater can emit per unit area. It should be noted that a higher heat output is not always the best choice, as it also means higher energy consumption. It is important to adapt the heat output to individual needs and the size of the room to be heated.

Overall, underfloor heating offers many advantages such as even heat distribution, a pleasant living climate and high efficiency. With the right choice of operating mode and the appropriate heat output, it can also be an economical and environmentally friendly solution for providing heat in your own home.
