Xyladecor Wood preservative glaze

Universal all-weather protection. The impregnating effect reduces the wood's ability to absorb water by more than 30%. The result: extra protection against moisture and dampness, as water beads off and the wood stays beautiful for longer. In case of visible weathering, or at the latest when noticeable cracks appear in the wood, re-lacquering should be done. This way, the impregnation is preserved, and the wood is permanently protected.

Areas of application: For new and old woods outdoors, such as facades, privacy screens, fences, carports, garden houses, and much more. The special formulation of Xyladecor wood protection glaze, with its micropigments, penetrates particularly deep and protects from the inside. A primer is usually not necessary.

Processing: Remove thick, flaking, non-load-bearing old coatings. Tie back plants. Use only in well-ventilated areas. Ensure good ventilation during and after processing. Cover the workspace with foil or paper. Brush or wipe off dust and dirt. For raw, untreated (e.g., non-impregnated) softwoods, we recommend pre-treatment with a primer from Xyladecor. Wood that is directly exposed to the weather should never be painted only with the colorless variant. Only colored variants of Xyladecor protect the wood from graying.

Before use, stir or shake Xyladecor wood protection glaze well. Apply undiluted with a soft flat brush quickly in the direction of the wood grain. Only use material with the same batch number on one area. A uniform surface can also be achieved by reworking with a squeezed brush about 30-40 minutes after treatment. At least 2 coats of Xyladecor wood protection glaze should be applied. Allow to dry for about 12 hours before applying the next coat. Always keep the can well closed after painting. Use leftover amounts soon.
