Xyladecor Wood stain

Universal all-weather protection. The impregnation effect reduces the wood's ability to absorb water by more than 30%. The result: extra protection against moisture and dampness, as water beads off and the wood stays beautiful for longer. When visible weathering occurs, or at the latest when noticeable cracks appear in the wood, re-stain. This maintains the impregnation and ensures the wood is permanently protected.

Areas of application: For new and old wood outdoors: facades, privacy screens, fences, carports, garden sheds, and much more. The special formulation of Xyladecor wood protection stain, with its micropigments, penetrates particularly deeply and protects from within. A primer is usually not necessary.

Application: Remove thick, flaking, non-load-bearing old coatings. Tie back plants. Use only in well-ventilated areas. Ensure good ventilation during and after application. Cover the work area with foil or paper. Brush or wipe off dust and dirt. For raw, untreated (e.g., non-impregnated) softwoods, we recommend pre-treatment with a primer from Xyladecor. Never paint directly weathered wood with the colorless variant alone. Only colored variants of Xyladecor protect the wood from graying.

Please stir or shake Xyladecor wood protection stain well before use. Apply the undiluted Xyladecor wood protection stain quickly with a soft flat brush in the direction of the wood grain. Only use material with the same batch number on one area. A uniform surface can also be achieved by reworking with a squeezed brush about 30-40 minutes after treatment. Apply at least 2 coats of Xyladecor wood protection stain. Allow to dry for about 12 hours before the next coat. Always keep the can tightly closed after use. Use up any remaining amounts soon.
