Alpin Long-lasting Wood Stain

Durable weather protection even in extreme weather conditions.

Product quality: Protects wood from graying – pigments remain color-stable. The coating stays beautiful for longer. Achieve beautiful surfaces easily! Satin finish, breathable, does not peel – can be simply overcoated for renovations. Does not drip, even during overhead work. Up to 6 years of weather protection (depending on the weather side and the structural construction).

Areas of application: Suitable for all new and old woods outdoors: facades, doors, and windows (including their interiors), garden sheds, privacy screens, and much more. Coverage: approximately 12 m² with one coat, depending on wood type and absorbency.

How to stain correctly:
1. Remove thick, flaking, and non-load-bearing old coatings. Do not inhale sanding dust! Wear a dust mask. Tie back plants. Do not work in open light or near open flames. Ensure good ventilation during application.
2. Cover the workspace with film or paper. Brush or wipe off dust and dirt. Xyladecor Long-lasting Stain is ready to use and only needs to be stirred lightly.
3. For raw, untreated softwoods, we recommend using Xyladecor Wood Protection Primer. This effectively protects the wood from excessive moisture absorption and thus from wood discoloration. The coating will appear more beautiful and even.
4. Apply Xyladecor Alpine Wood Stain undiluted with a soft flat brush in the direction of the wood grain, applying 2 coats. For new woods, multiple coats may be necessary.
5. A uniform surface can also be achieved by reworking with a squeezed-out brush about 10-20 minutes after treatment.
6. Stain wood cut edges and end grains 3 times with Xyladecor Long-lasting Stain. This reduces the leaching of colored substances from the wood.
7. Always keep the can well closed after use. Use leftover amounts within one painting season.
