Product details

Whether in the garden, in agriculture and forestry, or on a construction site, when a sharp blade is essential, the splitting axe from XPOtool is the optimal tool. The splitting axe features a blade made of carbon steel with a hardness of 42–50 HRC. The head weighs 2700 grams, allowing for clean work with minimal effort. For necessary safety before or after using the axe, it is equipped with a special rubber protective lip that protects both the blade and the user. In addition to its function as a splitting axe, there is also a hammer on the back of the blade that can be used for breaking hard materials.

The high-quality splitting axe comes with a 910 mm long fiberglass handle. For a secure grip, the handle is rubberized, ensuring that it won't slip out of your hand even with a lot of swing. The splitting axe is commonly used for splitting small to medium-sized pieces of firewood. It has the classic axe shape and is relatively lightweight and flat. With a relatively long cutting edge and a large striking surface, the splitting axe glides through the wood fibers, making it suitable for working with long-fiber wood types such as spruce, pine, and fir.
