Wiltec Skimmer Set

With this skimmer set, you receive a practical built-in skimmer including an inlet nozzle. The skimmer is mounted at the edge of the pool and connected to a pump (not included). The pool water flows through the suction opening into the skimmer, where impurities such as leaves, grass, or fallen insects are captured in the large debris basket. The pre-filtered water is then directed to the pump for filtration. Finally, the water is returned to the pool. However, even without a pump connection, the skimmer collects foreign objects from the water surface. Larger debris is caught in the filter basket and can be removed manually.

Such a skimmer ensures clean, clear water and should be a staple in any pool. By collecting impurities before they sink to the bottom, it helps reduce algae formation. Whether with or without a pump connection, larger particles like leaves should be removed regularly to maintain the skimmer's full efficiency.

The skimmer is suitable for use in steel wall pools. If your pool does not have a pre-drilled hole for the skimmer, simply use the included gasket as a template. This way, you can cut an appropriate hole in the steel wall of the pool using metal shears and a zinc spray (both not included) to install the skimmer.
