Wavin Tigris Alupex is a universal system made of multilayer metal-polymer pipes PEX-c / Al / PE and press fittings for sanitary, central heating, and underfloor heating installations. The system is installed using a manual or electric crimping tool. The plastic compression fitting is made of polyphenylsulfone (PPSU), which has excellent physical properties and is distinguished by its extremely high impact strength, edge stability, and resistance to temperature fluctuations compared to other plastics. The strength of PPSU is comparable to that of metal; however, unlike metal, PPSU is completely corrosion-free, which is particularly important in heating systems.
