Uvex Safety shoe

The robust uvex 2 safety shoe, classified as S2/S3, is optimized for medium-heavy applications and is suitable for industries such as chemicals, transport and logistics, energy, mechanical engineering, and trade. It features an exceptionally lightweight and flexible, 100% metal-free uvex xenova toe cap of the latest generation, designed with a compact shape and anatomical form that provides good lateral stability, has no thermal conductivity, and is non-magnetic.

The non-metallic, puncture-resistant insole meets the latest standards without compromising the shoe's flexibility. Made with new last technology, it offers exceptional comfort. The optimized wearing experience is enhanced by uvex climazone technology. The upper material is made from hydrophobic and breathable, particularly soft cowhide leather, which ensures optimal ventilation thanks to the Distance Mesh lining material.

The shoe features an individually adjustable elastic hand strap with a quick-release mechanism, and a standard replacement strap is included (only model 6502). The nearly seamless shaft construction helps to avoid pressure points. It offers a removable comfort insole that is antistatic and equipped with a moisture management system as well as additional cushioning in the heel and forefoot areas.

The softly padded collar and padded dust flap enhance comfort. The two-layer sole consists of an exceptionally lightweight and highly shock-absorbing midsole, along with a very slip-resistant outsole that is free from substances that could impair paint wetting, such as silicones and plasticizers. An injected polyurethane overcap protects the upper leather above the toe cap and significantly extends its lifespan. The shoe meets ESD requirements with a discharge resistance.
