The robust uvex 2 safety shoe series, classified as S2/S3, is optimized for medium to heavy-duty applications and is aimed at industries such as chemicals, transport and logistics, energy, mechanical engineering, and trade.

These shoes are particularly lightweight and flexible, featuring a 100% metal-free uvex xenova toe cap of the latest generation. They have a compact design, an anatomical shape, good lateral stability, no thermal conductivity, and are non-magnetic. The non-metallic, puncture-resistant insole meets the latest standards without compromising the shoe's flexibility.

Made with new last technology, these shoes offer exceptional wearing comfort. The optimized comfort is achieved through uvex climazone technology. The hydrophobic and breathable upper material is made from particularly soft cowhide leather and ensures optimal ventilation thanks to the Distance Mesh lining.

The shoes come with individually adjustable elastic laces with a quick-release mechanism, and interchangeable laces are included as standard. The nearly seamless upper construction helps to avoid pressure points. A removable comfort insole is antistatic, equipped with a moisture management system, and provides additional cushioning in the heel and forefoot areas.

The softly padded shaft and padded tongue enhance comfort. The two-layer sole consists of an exceptionally lightweight and highly shock-absorbing midsole, as well as a very good slip-resistant outsole, free from substances that could impair paint wetting, such as silicones and plasticizers. A molded polyurethane overcap protects the upper leather above the toe cap and significantly extends the shoe's lifespan. The shoes also meet ESD requirements for conductivity.
