The M48 Survival Axe is the perfect companion for hiking and camping. With an overall length of 37 inches, it serves excellently as a walking stick while camping. A cast blade made of 2Cr13 stainless steel is razor-sharp and can easily chop through saplings. The handle, made of 30% fiberglass, is nearly indestructible, and the axe head is securely attached to it. Three separate metal pins include a removable rubber blade cover when not in use for cutting.
