The universal screw is the ultimate all-rounder in SPAX's range. It can do almost anything – for example, it can be driven into softwoods like spruce and pine, as well as into common wood-based panels (MDF, particle board, and OSB) without the hassle of pre-drilling. Our universal screw demonstrates its superiority especially in interior construction and furniture building, but it is also well-suited for outdoor use with the appropriate corrosion protection. Thanks to its special thread geometry, the driving resistance when screwing is significantly lower than with conventional screws, which not only saves your strength and nerves but also extends the battery life of the screwdriver used. Splitting of the wood near the edges is almost completely prevented. This means for you: You can drive in more screws per battery charge, and you no longer have to worry about split wood ends!.
