Product details
Finally, a bike rack that is easy to install and won't damage your car! The SeaSucker bike racks use incredibly strong vacuum mounts, allowing you to temporarily but securely mount your bike on the roof of your car without the hassle of installing permanent hardware. SeaSuckers leave no marks, are UV and weather resistant, and adhere exceptionally well to glass or metal surfaces.
Included is a rear wheel strap (6” SeaSucker with Velcro) to secure the rear wheel of your bike and prevent it from sliding left or right.
This rack features a fork clamp that is attached to three 6” SeaSuckers. The rack body is made of 1/2” HDPE, making it strong enough to hold your bike but flexible enough to follow the curve of your roofline. It is designed to be mounted on your roof and windshield but can be used almost anywhere – on the roof, on the trunk, etc. Approximate dimensions: 15” x 12”.
It comes with our SeaSucker custom heavy-duty fork mount that opens wide enough when you operate the lever, so you don’t have to tighten or loosen the screw nut on the opposite side every time you put your bike in or take it out of the rack. Older photos may show the Delta Bike Hitch Pro fork mount, which we no longer specify.
Some assembly may be required. Tools needed: 5/32” Allen wrench and 7/16” (or adjustable) wrench.
What’s included in the package:
- Talon 1 bike rack with standard 9mm fork mount.
- Rear wheel strap.
- 5g tube of lubricant for vacuum pump maintenance.
- Replacement SeaSucker vacuum pad and pump.
