Each starter is shipped without overload protection; therefore, a suitable RF38 series overload protection must be selected to match the motor's VSL. This series of enclosed, direct on-line motor starters combines high performance with low cost. The series includes options with and without an isolator and supports motors from 5.5 kW to 11 kW. The molded plastic enclosure provides IP65 protection from media ingress and meets IEC/EN 60947-1 and IEC/EN 60947-4-1 standards. The operating temperature range is -25 °C to +60 °C. Options without an isolator have space for mounting an additional 17.5 mm wide module, such as a timer, level control, or monitoring relay.
