Each starter is supplied without overload protection; therefore, a suitable overload protection from the RF38 series must be selected that matches the VSL of the motor. This series includes enclosed, directly connected motor starters that combine high performance at low cost. The series offers options with and without an isolator and supports motors from 5.5 kW to 11 kW. The enclosure made of molded plastic provides IP65 protection against the ingress of media. It meets the standards IEC/EN 60947-1 and IEC/EN 60947-4-1. Operating temperature range: -25 °C to +60 °C. The series is available with and without an isolator. Options without an isolator provide space for the installation of an additional 17.5 mm wide module, such as a timer, level monitoring, or a monitoring relay.
