Plenty of storage space for the family holiday
The endurance test on a family holiday is yet to come - but I can already say that the Thule Motion leaves an extremely solid impression. The box offers an incredible amount of storage space - this applies to all dimensions: Over 2 meters long items find space here; the box is (especially in the middle area) also suitable for slightly higher bags and in the XT XL variant, it is also quite wide.
Despite the bulky size, the box does not look disturbing on the car, the driving noise is kept within limits and it seems that everything has been done here to keep the fuel increase as low as possible.
Please don't forget: The box doesn't spend most of its time on the car - so if you're planning on buying one, think about where you're going to keep it!
All in all, I think the slightly higher price of the Thule brand is justified here.Pro

Excellent quality.
The box is not only practical, it also looks very good. If someone wants to have the Jon Olsson look, this is certainly enough, but the deeper versions would certainly look even better. But I am completely satisfied. The additional noise is very marginal, but I drive an Audi and normally I hear almost nothing from the outside, even at 120km/h on the motorway. The noise difference is only noticeable at higher speeds. I only hear a small difference at 100km/h. Driving behaviour is not affected at all. Has room for 2 snowboards, shoes and other small items.Pro

Very practical box, with good roof rack attachment.
At first I thought: Wow. The box is huge.
After the first installation on the roof, which is very easy, all doubts were gone.
The fastening is very well solved and the box holds like one.
Only the workmanship of the closing system is a bit spongy. This is the case when there is a lot of material in the box. In such cases, the lock cannot be hooked in properly. But so far I haven't found a box that is perfect.
Otherwise, it's a great box that offers a lot of space.
