Questions about Kärcher Ultra Foam Cleaner 3in1 1 ltr.

It says on the bottle that it is not suitable for "plug 'n' clean". But in terms of shape, it would fit perfectly... What is the reason that you can't/shouldn't dock it directly onto the Kärcher and you have to hang a foam/cleaning nozzle in between?
