It is always difficult to say what the range is, as any object can be an obstacle to the signal. But basically, the range is about 10m if there is no object in the way and both the remote control and the adapter are in the same room.
The adapter is not suitable for the garden, as it is not water-protected. For the garage, I also recommend an adapter with a higher degree of protection. For both applications:

To question 1: Stepless dimming is possible with our LED lamp. However, with strong dimming, the lamp starts to flicker.
To questions 2 and 3: I don't know.
Further comment on the product: The operating instructions for the dimmer and the hand-held radio transmitter are very poor and partly wrong!
For example, the instructions for the ITLR 200 radio dimmer say: With the "Off" button on the transmitter, the minimum brightness is gradually reduced, with the "On" button it is increased.
Criticism: Firstly, there is no separate "Off" button and "On" button, but it is one of the 4 buttons that switches to "Off" when tilted to the right, and switches to "On" when tilted to the left.
Secondly, the Dim process can only be started or stopped with the switch position "On" ("tilt to the left"). Sometimes you have to tilt 2x to the left until dimming effectively starts. Tilting to the right always causes "Off".
