We have connected a 20m hose for the upper garden and a 10m hose for the lower garden, it even goes uphill a bit, watering works without problems. It even works automatically with a timer.
What do you mean by automatic? The pump does everything on its own. If it is in the water, has power and the valve is open, it pumps. If there is no more water, it stops.
I don't have a standard IBC. The pump is 15 cm in diameter, so it should just fit. If it doesn't fit, see if you can file down the plastic insert of the IBC tank a bit, or sand down the plastic bottom of the pump a bit, if you decide to keep the pump.
Any Micro-Drip system set from Gardena can be used on this Gardena rain barrel pump.
Ciao Lucas Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, I can't tell you how high the power consumption is in relation to switched-off operation... because (as you have already written) I interrupt the power supply every time after use, or only in the socket when in use, otherwise not... the danger would be great in automatic mode that something would suddenly and unexpectedly activate (power remuneration). Otherwise totally satisfied... Pressure not extreme, but more than enough... is perfectly sufficient for watering the garden and lawn! I hope to be of service to you with my answers anyway. Greetings Salvatore Sergi
