Grain shapes, pH values in the neutral range and a high SiO2 content are excellent basic values for the production of of top-quality products. The filter sand is fire dried, dedusted and washed. A drying process enables closely graded Screening or grain sizes required in various filter systems. Filter sands are used primarily in water filter systems used for cleaning e.g. pool or pond water.
