PURION® UV systems are characterized by exceptionally high disinfection performance, compact design, and low energy consumption. They are constructed in accordance with applicable laws, standards, and guidelines. The PURION® 2501 90 W system is used for the disinfection of drinking water with flow rates of up to 10,000 l/h and a transmission (or turbidity) of the water of at least 90% per cm. The UV lamps used are known for their long lifespan, high disinfection efficiency, and low energy consumption.

The compact design allows for easy and tool-free lamp removal and replacement, for example, at the end of the lamp's service life. For cleaning purposes, the quartz immersion tube can also be disassembled and assembled without tools. The water to be treated flows through the housing and is directed along the quartz immersion tube where the lamp is installed. The low water film thickness of only 7.5 mm, referring to the distance between the UV light exit at the quartz surface and the inner wall of the housing, ensures optimal penetration of the water by the UV light.
