The Plonos garden tunnel measures 450 cm in length, 300 cm in width, and 200 cm in height, providing 13.5 m² of protected growing space. Constructed with double-galvanized steel profiles measuring 25 mm in diameter with 0.7 mm wall thickness, this structure offers exceptional stability and durability compared to standard 19 mm profiles. The reinforced frame eliminates the need for additional guy wires while providing reliable support. The polyethylene cover weighs 140 g/m² with UV4 resistance, offering effective protection against wind and weather conditions while maintaining high solar radiation transmission due to low light reflection. The tunnel features eight ventilation windows with insect screens, four on each side wall, allowing sunlight penetration and plant inspection without entering the structure. Entry is through a 125 cm wide by 180 cm high zippered opening. The base includes a protective skirt that can be covered with soil to secure the cover against wind. This garden tunnel creates optimal growing conditions for plants during cooler periods or cloudy weather, particularly beneficial for early vegetable varieties. The protective environment supports healthy plant development while extending the growing season. The set includes five 120 cm steel plant support poles with plastic coating and sharpened ends for easy ground insertion, 100 meters of sisal rope for plant tying, four ground anchors, and four 260 cm white guy lines for additional wind protection.
