Peddy Shield Square sail

• 100% UV-stabilized polyester fabric (200 g/m²) with shading or UV protection greater than 95%
• Heavy stainless steel rings at all four corners
• Sides cut in a curved shape to ensure the sail is taut in the middle and does not sag
• With edge reinforcement
• Sun sail washable at 40°C

4 elastic tension straps that keep the sail constantly taut and can absorb wind forces. (Do not allow children to play with the straps - there is a risk of uncontrolled snapping back, which can cause injuries.)
4 ring screw anchors approximately 5 x 50 mm, galvanized steel - wood screw for direct attachment to wood (roof rafters) - screw in deeply.
4 dowels - 8 x 40 mm - installation in stone with an 8 mm masonry drill - for attachment to stone or concrete.

The sail should be removed in winter, as well as in the event of impending bad weather.

Plan the suspension of the sail so that the elastic bands are pre-tensioned but not stretched to the endpoint, allowing the sun sail to give way during strong gusts of wind.
Hang the sail at an angle - it looks good when one of the four corners is pulled down low. This prevents the formation of water pockets, and this part of the sun sail also provides privacy and possibly wind protection.

Children should never play with the tension straps due to the risk of injury - note that the taut strap can snap back with great force.
