High-quality privacy screen for balconies and terraces. The balcony covering is made from a beautiful, high-quality polyester fabric specifically woven by Peddy Shield for use as a balcony covering. This polyester fabric has a specific weight of 280 g/m², which corresponds to a medium-weight awning fabric. Awning fabrics are often used for balcony coverings but have the disadvantage that they cannot be washed, as the acrylic fibers break at the creases in the fabric, leading to what is known as "white break," which appears as light spots on the fabric. Therefore, Peddy Shield has chosen a heavy polyester fabric for a robust and, above all, washable balcony covering. The polyester fabric is high-quality coated, making it water- and dirt-repellent, yet not stiff like an awning fabric. The color of the balcony covering is a solid light silver-gray, a deliberately chosen neutral shade that will never clash with the upholstery of your garden furniture and also matches all other colors from Peddy Shield, such as the sun sails and the covering of the privacy screen folding screen.

The attachment of the balcony covering is done through rustproof metal eyelets in the edges (3 cm wide) and two long cords. Two different methods are shown for connecting the cord to the balcony railing. The metal eyelets in the edges have a spacing of approximately 24.5 cm along the 500 cm length. The metal eyelets have an inner diameter of 10 mm and are rustproof, made of copper electroplated with nickel. The attachment to the balcony railing is done with two cords in light silver-gray, each 7 m long and made of UV-stable polypropylene.
