OBO Bettermann cable gland VTEC EX M20 SW is a cable gland with EC type examination certificate for equipment and protective systems intended for use in potentially explosive atmospheres. It complies with Directive 94/9/EC, with EC type examination certificate numbers PTB 99 ATEX 3112X and 3113X. The cable gland features a metric connection thread according to IEC 423. It is a robust cable gland in cap nut design with a large sealing range, strain relief, and anti-twist protection for high sealing requirements. The sealing ring is made of chloroprene/nitrile rubber with molded-on sealing ribs, eliminating the need for a connection thread sealing ring. It is VDE-tested with a protection class of IP 68 at 5 bar.
