The perfect solution for protecting your tomatoes and other plants. In windy rain, the plant may get wet occasionally. It can usually handle this if it is staked, healthy, and strong, and if the temperatures are not too cold. Includes a watering hose, PE film, and a wooden stake. Dimensions (H×Ø): approximately 120×49 cm. The tomato hat can protect against hail and continuous rain and waters directly above the roots. Pollination also works with the film.

Instructions for using the tomato hat: Drive the stake into the ground before planting, with a distance of at least 50×50×50 cm. Plant the tomato plant at an angle to the stake and tie it. Remove all shoots that are not needed. Remove lower leaves at the first signs of browning or curling. Trim the upper leaves by a maximum of one third if they extend too far over the edge of the hat. Make all changes to the plant in dry weather. Water sufficiently during dry spells, but not daily. In autumn, when the first tomatoes burst, water less or hardly at all.

Experiments with perforated planting film have been successfully tested to keep out lateral rain. Do not hit the stake with a hammer after it has been set up. Fungal spores of blight and brown rot are transmitted by wind, rain, soil, and compost.
