The INA needle bearing is a highly developed bearing solution manufactured according to the standards DIN 5405-1 and ISO 3030. These needle bearings consist of single or double-row units that combine cages and needle rollers. The single-row design features a radial height that corresponds to the diameter of the needle rollers, allowing for compact storage with minimal radial space. This design ensures high load capacity and is suitable for applications with high rotational speeds. Additionally, the needle bearings are particularly easy to assemble and offer high running accuracy when the raceways are precisely shaped. The radial clearance can be influenced by the choice of needle roller type as well as the tolerances of the shaft and housing. For optimal performance, it is important that the raceway on the shaft and in the housing is hardened and ground. Double-row needle bearings are available in specific outer diameters and carry the designation ZW.
