The HP10M photovoltaic (PV) fuse series from Mersen has been specifically designed to protect PV string wiring for 1000VDC industrial photovoltaic systems in industrial and utility applications. Its robust design makes it ideal for continuous temperature and current fluctuations, extending the system's lifespan. The 1000VDC HP10M, designed for a low minimum tripping threshold of 1.35 times the fuse ratings, provides a safe interruption under typical conditions with low fault currents generated by PV generators. In addition to the standard connection, parts with crimp cap connections for inline fuse inserts are also available. The unique cable crimp connection (CC option) allows for a solder-free connection between the cable and fuse for the encapsulation of the fuse and wiring.
