The D0 fuse system is used in low-voltage installations where the fuse-links are accessible to and can be replaced by laymen. It is the most modern screw fuse system and is designed for 400VAC/250VDC. Sizes D01, D02, and D03 form the D0 system. D0 fuse bases are used together with D0 fuse links to protect cables and installations. D0 fuse-links safely switch off impermissible overcurrents and short-circuit currents up to the rated breaking current. They also protect electrical equipment and installations from the electrodynamic effect of high short-circuit currents. Complies with DIN VDE 0636-3, DIN EN 60743. The sleeve-type fuse inserts and the design of the fuses ensure that no larger fuses can be screwed in than is permissible for the cable.
