Each Maverick ProTemp PT-100BBQ thermocouple thermometer is factory calibrated after production, with a test report included in the user manual. The Maverick ProTemp excels as a quick-measure device, particularly with its response time of 3-4 seconds, accuracy of +/- 1°C over a wide measurement range of -40 to 230 °C, and its large backlit LED display. Reading the temperature from the display is also possible in very poor visibility conditions. Below the LED display, there is a useful table with temperature values for various types of food at different cooking levels. Thanks to its sturdy housing and additional protectors on the most critical corners and edges, the Maverick ProTemp is sufficiently protected in case it is dropped. Additionally, the housing is water-resistant according to IP44 standards, providing protection for the Maverick ProTemp in the rain.
