Loctite 542 Thread Sealant is a highly effective, single-component sealing compound specifically designed for sealing threads up to a size of M26 R 3/4". This medium-strength product cures anaerobically and offers excellent chemical resistance, making it ideal for applications in hydraulic, pneumatic, and water piping systems. The sealant can be disassembled with standard tools, allowing for easy handling and maintenance. Additionally, Loctite 542 Thread Sealant is SVGW-approved for use in gas lines, but it should not be used in combination with high copper content alloys or in hot water applications above +40°C.
